About Yas Marina Circuit
Yas Marina Circuit opened in 2009 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, built as a permanent home for Formula 1 on the waterfront beside the marina. A lap runs 5.281 km through 16 turns, the grandstands hold around 60,000 spectators, and the layout was reworked in 2021 to open up overtaking. Its headline weekend is the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix; through the rest of the year the same track carries championship rounds, drift and street-challenge series, race nights and driving experiences.

- Getting there
Free event shuttles serve major Yas Island stops and selected partner hotels; taxis and ride-hailing apps cover the island, and several Yas Island hotels are within walking distance.
- Parking
Parking at the circuit is limited on event days and reserved for pass holders. Guests parking at Yas Mall continue to the circuit on shuttle buses.
- Accessibility
Oasis areas and most grandstands are wheelchair accessible, with dedicated areas in the Main and North Grandstands, where one companion ticket is free. Abu Dhabi Hill and the West, Marina, South, Straight and North Straight Grandstands, among others, are reached by stairs only. The West and East Gates run transport to the grandstands for mobility-impaired guests, and shuttle buses from Yas Mall have ramps. Bring your own wheelchair — none are available at the circuit.
- Bags and what you can bring
No outside food or drinks — baby food and food prescribed for medical reasons are allowed, and refillable water containers are fine. Not allowed: alcohol, umbrellas (unless bought at the venue), video cameras and GoPro-type devices, cameras with lenses over 30 cm, drones, chairs and stools, cooler boxes, picnic hampers, large backpacks or anything that does not fit under a seat, flags on poles over 1 m, scooters, skateboards and bicycles.
- Entry and age
Every guest aged 3 and over needs a ticket; children aged 2 and under enter free. Some areas admit only guests aged 12+ or 21+ — check your ticket and bring proof of age. Tickets are shown in the official Abu Dhabi GP app; the Ticketmaster app does not grant entry. Alcohol is sold in designated areas to guests aged 21+ with photo ID.
